New

We’re pleased to announce an update to our data collection sheets!

These new versions (V4.1) incorporate the main improvements recently rolled out in the Climeet web application, including:

  • Updates to the “Design and (dis)assembly” and “Energy > Fuels” categories;

  • The ability to tag/flag emission lines by emitter (organizer, visitors, exhibitors);

  • Harmonized wording between the web application and the data collection sheets.

Please note: the new feature that allows you to enter and name known emissions at a specific line level (rather than at category level) has not been integrated into the data collection sheets. Adding it would have required two additional columns for limited use, which would have significantly complicated the handling of these files.

As the web application continues to evolve, we will gradually encourage its use over Excel sheets. This will help simplify data collection and monitoring, while giving you access to more advanced features to support your day-to-day work.

We therefore recommend that you start using the new feature that allows you to invite and collaborate with your suppliers directly from the web application. To do so, you can already add your contacts to the address book (accessible by clicking on your profile picture).

No need to worry: the previous data collection sheets are not obsolete.
You can still import them into the Climeet web application and continue your projects without interruption.

New

You can now enter your known emissions directly, line by line, in addition to the option “I know some or all of my emissions” available for each category.

With the “Known emissions” toggle, you can:

  • Add your specific emissions,

  • Name them and clearly differentiate them,

  • Gain clarity and precision in your event carbon footprints.

When should you use it?
If you or one of your suppliers has already measured the carbon footprint of their equipment, transport, services, or deliverables using one of the methods below.

Important point of attention
This feature relies on the quality of the data entered. The emissions provided must come from reliable sources, such as:

  • A Life Cycle Assessment (LCA);

  • A carbon footprint calculated using Climeet or a compliant tool;

  • A recognized and robust database;

  • The work of an expert;

  • An institutional study.

If you have any doubts, our team is here to support you. You can also continue entering your usual activity data (modes of transport, distances, volumes, number of people, etc.) to benefit from the robust and proven Climeet calculation engine.

A new building block to refine your analyses, while maintaining a high level of reliability.

New

You can now invite your providers to contribute directly to your events, in a targeted and secure way.
In practice:

  • add your providers and exhibitors to your address book

  • assign them to your events via the Providers button

  • an automatic email is sent to let them create their account

  • they can only access the scenario assigned to them, through an intuitive journey designed specifically for them

  • Monitor progress in real time, send automated reminders, and stay informed once tasks are completed.

The result: significant time savings, better data quality, and smooth collaboration with your providers without unnecessary complexity.

Your providers can now take full advantage of Climeet’s features, freeing them from the limitations of Excel.

New

To better track and understand the source of your events’ emissions, we are introducing emitting tags. These labels categorize and visualize emission sources according to stakeholders: for now, organizers, exhibitors, and visitors.

In practice, this allows you to:

  • Define your goals and roadmaps for your direct scope of action;

  • Identify opportunities in other areas to better raise awareness and engage your partners.

This method makes your actions clearer, measurable, and collaborative, while also facilitating communication and engagement among all stakeholders.

By assigning activity data lines to a type of emitter (organiser, visitors, exhibitors) in your event, you will be able to receive differentiated results and deliverables

Thanks to Comexposium for inspiring this new feature!
